The theme of The Navigators Group's 2014 annual report, "Building on Momentum," reflected the company’s strategic focus on sustaining and accelerating its growth trajectory. It emphasized how past achievements laid a strong foundation for future expansion, innovation, and deeper specialization in complex risk markets. This forward-looking theme conveyed confidence, stability, and a commitment to evolving with the needs of its clients and markets.
Building on the theme of "Building on Momentum," we translated the concept visually by using bold, black “building blocks” to structure and contain key content throughout the report. These solid forms conveyed strength and stability, while overlaid imagery featuring long exposure light streams introduced a dynamic sense of speed and forward motion. The contrast between grounded structure and energetic movement gave readers a visceral sense of progress, reinforcing the idea of a company confidently advancing, guided by its strong foundation.
